This is how I practice SACRED MIDWIFERY
Dear Mother, I’m so grateful for all that I am and all that I have received.
Allow me to be an instrument of your healing. Be my guide and hold my hand as I keep the sacred space for this couple, as they welcome a new life into the world. Let me be the mother’s rock to rest upon. Let me be the mother’s reminder to trust in her body and the divine birthing process. Help me encourage her to move your light from the crown of her head all the way down through her body, allowing your energy to become incarnate, as a new child comes into this world. Fuel this couple’s loving connection, so that the new life can experience their love for each other. I’m honoured to be the dweller at the threshold, humbly ushering each new life into this world.
Remove the bondage with ego, and let all the birth-helpers work together for the well being of this new life. Allow each baby to know deep within herself that she is wanted and is perfect just the way she is. Assure her that she has the potential to be the next Messiah, world leader, and healer who will bring your love and understanding into the universe.
Guide the mother to successfully breastfeed her baby, as the divine milf flows through her bosom. Help me reassure both parents of their innate ability to nurture and parent their child.
GUIDE ME TO BE THE BEST THAT I CAN BE; MAKE ME AN INSTRUMENT OF YOUR HEALING AND DEVOTION.
